About Colin Ryan

My name is Colin Ryan, and I’m a second-year student at Ohio University’s College of Business, majoring in marketing with a certificate in sales. I’ve always been drawn to the people side of business, understanding what drives decisions and how to connect with others in a meaningful way. At Ohio University, I stay involved in organizations that push me to grow both professionally and personally. I’m part of The Ralph and Luci Schey Sales Centre, where I serve on the facilitation team, helping create an environment where others can build their skills while continuing to develop my own. I’m also an active member of Pi Sigma Epsilon, a professional business fraternity focused on marketing, sales, and management. Through these experiences, I’ve strengthened my leadership, built a strong network, and gained real insight into what it takes to succeed in the business world. I’m especially interested in the business side of marketing and sales, things like market strategy, consumer behavior, insurance sales, and overall business development. I enjoy figuring out how ideas turn into results and how companies can better connect with their audiences. I’m always looking for new opportunities to learn, challenge myself, and gain hands-on experience. Whether it’s through internships, networking, or new projects, I’m focused on continuing to grow and preparing myself for a career where I can make an impact.
