As a Senior Completions Advisor, I am tasked with creating innovative completion designs, enhancing corporate knowledge of resource plays, and supporting major capital projects. My key responsibilities include guiding the team in well completion and intervention activities by developing plans, conducting assurance reviews, performing risk assessments, and ensuring project readiness and execution. Additionally, I advise and mentor engineers to achieve successful project outcomes in a cost-effective and safe manner. Staying informed about alternative technologies is crucial, including those related to horizontal well completions, sand control, water isolation, ICD, hydraulic fracturing design, acid and NWB stimulation design, production assurance, perforation design, and material selection and procurement strategies.The Senior Strategic Completions Advisor offers technical expertise while monitoring and implementing new technologies to support the Operating Team. Key responsibilities include:•Offering leadership, technical advice, and guidance to Completions Operations.•Leading efforts to keep the organization updated on unconventional developments.•Developing and delivering optimized completion designs that meet technical objectives while adhering to regulatory and corporate policies.•Assisting the operations team in creating well contingency and workover plans.•Supporting daily rig site operations according to company standards and procedures.•Enhancing team skills and capabilities through training, mentoring, and coaching.•Utilizing benchmarking practices, including lessons learned and identifying technology gaps, to inform Completion teams across various projects.•Reducing non-productive time by identifying issues, analyzing Non-Productive Time (NPT), spotting trends, and recommending corrective actions.•Developing scopes of work and technical specifications for Completion tender packages.•Preparing Technology Assessment Reports after implementation.
