ABOUT COLIN NEIGHBOR
I recently graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Finance with a focus in Financial Planning and minoring in Business Analytics. During my time at OU, I immersed myself in leadership and professional development opportunities. I founded the university’s chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon and served as Eminent Warden, where I honed my leadership and organizational skills. I also joined the professional business fraternity, Kappa Alpha Zeta, later serving as Treasurer—a role that deepened my understanding of budgeting, financial decision-making, and team collaboration. My experiences at Ohio University were not only academically enriching but also personally transformative. I’m now proud to be a paraplanner at Peak Retirement Planning, Inc, where I support financial advisors by preparing plans, taking notes during client meetings, and handling essential planning and administrative tasks. This role is designed to be both hands-on and developmental, giving me the opportunity to learn directly from experienced advisors and the client service team as I work toward becoming a lead planner myself. I’m currently focused on expanding my technical expertise, pursuing my CFP designation, and continuing my professional development in a dynamic, client-centered environment.
