ABOUT COLIN MITACEK
I’m a junior at Boston University majoring in International Relations with a concentration in Economics, Business, and Politics, and I plan to attend law school after graduation. I\'m especially interested in the intersection of law and governance. To explore that passion, I’ve joined the Pre-Law Society, Pre-Law Review, and Business Law Club at BU, where I’ve been developing my legal research and writing skills. I also spent six weeks studying abroad in London through BU’s College of General Studies, gaining a global perspective on law and politics. Most recently, I interned with Josh Gottheimer’s gubernatorial campaign, where I completed hundreds of phone calls to constituents and helped mobilize voters, an experience that sharpened my communication, organization, and outreach abilities in a fast-paced political environment. I’m now seeking hands-on experience through internships that will allow me to apply my skills in meaningful ways and deepen my understanding of the legal and policy fields.
