Working in collaboration with the client, as Project Manager, delivering multi-discipline Owners Engineer services for Whitetail Clean Energy project partners; US clean energy innovation firm 8 Rivers Capital and Sembcorp Energy UK (SEUK), to develop the UK’s first Net Zero emissions Power Station at the Wilton International site on Teesside.As Project Manager I am supporting Whitetail Clean Energy through provision of engineering design and PMO support through the FEED and Detailed design phases to financial close. Following FID we will thereafter coordinate and manage our on-site presence to monitor, supervise and manage the subsequent construction and commissioning and testing of the plant. This 300MW NET power plant will capture and store its carbon emissions in secure geological formations deep under the North Sea where the plant is expected to be operations as soon as 2026.
