I believe that we need to act quickly on managing climate change and all of us have to play our part. Some of the decisions we have to make will only deliver a part solution but, with new low carbon technology only starting to arrive, these decisions are practical and allow New Zealand to meet its climate change objectives.I am an Executive Director of Lewis Tucker, an agri investment bank and advisory business that also looks after two forestry funds in New Zealand. We seek to responsibly establish carbon and rotation forests that will sequester carbon and provide carbon credits back to our investors as well as provide timber that will become a valuable part of New Zealand’s future low carbon economy. This helps emitters meet their climate change obligations and acts as a \"bridge\" while they solve the technological challenges to bring gross emissions to an acceptably low level (and net zero).My current and past roles have allowed me to develop my skillset and include problem solving to deliver strategic objectives, business planning and the management of teams through organisational change. I am a Chartered Accountant (CA) and graduated from Glasgow University.Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, running and cycling.
