The Global Head of Market Data Management is responsible for the end to end management of all market data products and services for the Barclays Group.Market Data Management is responsible for all data which reflects the capital markets, trading instruments, credit ratings and products which are used across the bank to manage risk, serve our clients and to inform investors in making financial decisions.Market Data Management manages the full lifecycle of all market data services including:o Creation of a dynamic multi year strategy for Market Data in partnership with the asset classes. Informing and supporting strategic decisions around technology, data, process and commercial outcomeso On-boarding new vendors and serviceso Complex contract negotiation during both on-boarding and renewalso The inventorisation of all market data products and serviceso Manage the request process for access to all market data serviceso Demand challenge process to identify valid alternatives to the requested service with the objective to reduce spendo Produce monthly and as required financial reports to assist the consuming businesses manage their spendo Manage the compliance / rights to use for all market data serviceso Manage all external audit requestso Manage the invoice process for all market data serviceso Strategic partnership management of Barclays relationships with C-Suite leaders at Bloomberg, LSEG, S&P Global, Factset, MSCI, Six, ICE, Moodys
