To supervise, verify, and prepare a business report recapping daily transactions in close cooperation with Night Audit and operational teams.* Verify and/or reconcile all revenue centers as reported by Night Audit in the Income Journal daily.* Review and balance rebates, paid outs, miscellaneous charges, and in-house charges to the Property Management System.* Set up and maintain a complete and accurate daily filing of all PMS reports, POS reports and miscellaneous source documentation. Ensure records retention as per company policies and in line with Federal and State regulations. When necessary, archive records as directed.* Prepare and maintain accurately:* Income Journal* Cash Receipts Journal* A/R Adjustment Journal* Ensure that Audit Trail is evidenced throughout all tasks.* Perform a detailed audit on all banquet functions against original copy of function sheets.* Review daily housekeeping discrepancy report and ensure action on all unresolved discrepancies.

ABOUT COLIN FITZSIMONS
I have received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Corporate Compliance from the Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University. I have a passion for hospitality and food service.I currently am a full-time income auditor for an all year round resort. Formerly, I have worked as a Food and Beverage Supervisor at Camelback Resort, where I oversaw the operations and quality of various restaurant styles, from pub and grille to upscale Italian chophouse and casual concepts. I also handled guest complaints or special requests, communicate with the oncoming shift, and train and perform all duties required of the food and beverage outlet employees. On the administrative side of the department I created schedules to staff 11 separate food and beverage outlets, forecasting business, and communicating with the leadership team to ensure business is operating to forecasted standards. In addition, I am an alumni of Alpha Kappa Psi, the largest and oldest business fraternity in the world. I have been serving on the Executive Board since spring 2021 on through 2024.I have also completed the X-Culture program, which is a global collaboration project that involves working with students from different countries and cultures on real-world business challenges.I am looking for full-time professional opportunities that will allow me to apply and expand my skills and knowledge in management, compliance, and hospitality. I am eager to learn from experienced mentors and to contribute to the success of a dynamic and diverse organization.
