   I teach introductory courses in the area of Ethnic Studies and collaborate in the development of new courses in Native American/Indigenous Studies & Decolonization, Asian American/Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Studies, Chicanx/Latinx Studies, and Black/African American Studies. I aim towards community-engaged scholarship and am committed to critical, humanizing, anti-racist, decolonial, and social justice pedagogy that addresses structural racism and state violence domestically and globally. I work to demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic backgrounds, and abilities of community college students.
