About Colin Drake
At my core, I’m a transit rider. I joined the transit profession to make the system better for riders. In our world, other factors (cost, schedule, politics, NIMBYs) often drown out the needs of the transit rider. It’s an uphill battle to keep decision-makers focused on their riders.I am not deterred by this challenge.As a planner, manager, innovator and coalition builder, I elevate the needs of transit riders, even when (or especially when) these needs are not being prioritized by those in power.
