I am currently focussed on technical delivery and product development of AMT-SYBEX\'s Mobile products. Our Geofield product serves utility and asset companies across the Water, Gas, Electricity and Rail sectors.Geofield is a powerful map-based mobile work management product that enables field workers to access and update enterprise data at the point of action. Supporting an intuitive map interface are the intelligent redlining (Markup) and data capture product capabilities.The core Geofield Mobile application offering is the Map Viewer. This provides map view facilities that enable fieldworkers to benefit from a rich set of data to support on-site activities. Extending the Map Viewer, Geofield Markup enables the capture of features of interest directly on the map through free-hand tools, drafting tools and GPS-based feature placement. Digital images, video and audio can be captured and placed on the map, enriching the collected information. Images can be annotated using the Geofield Sketchpad tool.Geofield is designed for offline use in disconnected/remote settings. GIS data is extracted from the customer\'s Master GIS system and delivered to the mobile device via a packaging system. Allowing data to be cached locally on the mobile tablet device.
