Professional Profile:A versatile and highly personable CFO/FD with a strong reputation among C-Suite groups and Boards built on his integrity led leadership, authentic engagement style and execution track record in complex settings.During a career spanning 25+ years, with ~20 years in UK & International insurance sectors, his commercial acumen, analytical approach and collaborative style have been at the centre of his experience delivering successfully executed complex business change / transformation projects, largely in matrix driven organisations.Personal Profile:Following an adverse mid-30s life experience and subsequent failure to recognise any sense of personal vulnerability, a period of acute mental ill-health followed. Stereotype followed as a professional man ignored the problem, remaining career active without seeking help, a decision that would elongate his path to recovery. With the sole aim of trying to help others he’s adopted a transparent approach about his experience during a near decade long battle which has seen him interviewed on two mainstream podcasts and self-publish ‘Man Vs Food’ in 2024, a book depicting a personal account of a professional man’s battle to recover “from himself”. Experience has shown that out of adversity comes a different perspective of life, which naturally spans into one’s professional life. In his case it’s opened his eyes to the true power of leading with genuine empathy and authenticity in an increasingly complex world, characteristics he considers remain sub-scale in many sectors.
