My early career was spent within private practice Quantity Surveying and Project Management consultancies, during which I obtained full professional qualifications and worked on commissions within a varied range of construction and development sectors. A move followed into a contracting and development organisation which enhanced my experience and developed key strengths in financial, commercial, legal, technical and development management disciplines as my role and responsibilities increased, culminating in promotion to Director. This role included control of land, commercial, development and construction activities, whilst having an overview on the financial management and sales aspects of the business.The business delivered affordable housing ranging from social housing design and build projects for a variety of clients, mixed tenure housing projects of varying scale, delivered in partnership with RSL’s and Local Authorities and which included housing for sale, with and without grant support, and outright private development housing projects of varying scale secured from a number of sources.
