ABOUT COLE SILVA

I come from a family of hard workers. Growing up in Tulare, a small town in the California Central Valley, I discovered that a strong work ethic is the foundation of success. My dad, who immigrated to the United States at seven not yet knowing any English, taught me the core values of discipline, resiliency, and respect. Watching him wake up at 4 a.m. for 40 years to provide for our family left me no excuse to not work tirelessly in pursuit of my own goals. Seeing this firsthand is what originally instilled in me to work relentlessly towards your dreams, no matter how wild they may be.While growing up in Tulare, I was exposed to people from all walks of life from an early age. Being raised in this environment taught me the importance of treating everyone with respect, no matter their background. I learned that each person brings a unique story and perspective to the table, emphasizing it isn’t our past that defines us, but it is who you choose to be today and the direction you are heading that does. My journey then led me to San Luis Obispo, where I pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Cal Poly, where I learned how to have an analytical mindset to break down diverse challenges. This experience equipped me with the tools to persevere through complex problems and find solutions that are innovative yet practical. These experiences in my upbringing helped establish the principles I live by to this day such as doing things right the first time, protecting what you love, and being willing to step up and lead whenever needed.Working at RavenVolt, I am fortunate to work for a company that is dedicated to creating a better future. I believe that no matter where you come from you can make a difference in this world.
