As an Interest Rate Derivatives Analyst at City National Bank/Royal Bank of Canada, I’m part of the Interest Rate Risk Management team, specializing in the sale and trading of interest rate derivatives within the Capital Markets Division. I focus on executing interest rate derivative sales and trades. Preparing materials for IRRM product presentations and ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.With a Bachelor’s in Business Economics from UCLA, I model and trade a variety of tailored financial products, including Swaps, Collars, Risk Participation Agreements (RPAs), Swaptions, and Caps. My role also provides exposure to key areas across the Capital Markets Division, such as Global Markets Sales and Trading, Loan Syndications, and International Banking & Trade Finance.For me, building strong relationships with clients and colleagues is key. I enjoy the challenge of navigating changing market conditions and creating hedging strategies that fit each situation.
