ABOUT COLE ARENDSEN
I am currently an Executive Wealth Analyst with Goldman Sachs Ayco.So what skills and experience got me to where I am today? As a Credit Risk Analyst, I generated over 140 financial health reports that improve risk mitigation efforts. Before I was a Credit Risk Analyst, I was a Summer Associate with Oakworth, where I was able to gain valuable exposure to the financial planning industry. I generated a financial plan for a couple which was then presented to our advisory committee. I also created a mock portfolio that outpaced the S&P 500 by 1.85% over a 2 month period. I gained valuable insights into investment risk tolerance and the importance of diversification.I fine-tuned my analytical skills through my graduate-level coursework where I got my MBA and MSF. This coursework included:BUSI 7110 Financial Analysis (A)FINC 6510 Multinational Finance (A)BUSI 7130 Strategic Analysis and the Competitive Environment.(A)FINC 6670 Mergers and Acquisitions (A)FINC 7650 Applied Financial Management (A)BUSI 7230 Cost Systems and Analysis (A)FINC 6260 Real Estate Investing (A)During my time in undergrad at Centre College, I was a student-athlete at a top liberal arts college. Throughout my four years, I was able to gain a wealth of knowledge in a wide variety of disciplines. My passion for classes focused in finance and my numbers-based approach to solving problems led me to focusing on a career in finance. Thanks to my time as a student-athlete and team captain, I gained valuable experience leading a diverse team of individuals to a common goal. It also gave me the ability to form valuable relationships and lifelong friends. I easily transferred my relationship building skills from the playing field to the office, which allows me to work cross-functionally and collaborate exceptionally well.My background of leadership in collaborative team sports paired with my strong passion for numbers and finance will allow for me to excel in the financial services industry. If you\'ve made have any questions about my qualifications or previous experience, or would just like to connect and get to know me, please shoot me a message. After all, I\'m always looking to build more relationships!
