About Cole Trent
My passions lie at the intersection of neuroscience and technology. I am particularly interested in the cochlear implant (CI) population, as CIs have become the fastest growing and most effective implantable device in recent history. I have decided to pursue a PhD in Auditory Neuroscience at Purdue University to further my knowledge in these areas. To further branch out into the fields of both auditory neuroscience and biomedical engineering, I have been accepted into the Interdisciplinary Training Program in Auditory Neuroscience (TPAN) program at Purdue which is an NIH funded T32 grant. Thanks to this program, I will be able to conduct research in multiple labs across multiple disciplines during my graduate school career.
