About Cole Ryan

I\'m a Finance student at Purdue\'s Daniels School of Business with interests in wealth/ asset management, corporate finance, and sales. I\'m also a minor in Philosophy, which engages my critical thinking skills in atmospheres outside of the business field.In 2023, I had the opportunity to intern with Airbus, the largest aeronautics company in France. We visited manufacturing factories, learned from the engineers, and got to board planes as they explained the engineering and physics behind how planes work. Back in Chicago, my city of residence before college, I was challenged by the International Baccalaureate Program, as well as a part-time job as a food runner. I started food running in October of my sophomore year, and by August of my senior year, I got promoted to chef, where I worked on the line with other chefs and gained valuable experience. Working in a restaurant has taught me to be a helpful team member, as well as develop critical communication skills. Mastering these skills made my job easier and my relationships with my coworkers from effective and efficient.My interests outside of work include playing chess, golfing, traveling internationally, and exploring the outdoors. I am always looking for new opportunities and new challenges. I\'m seeking internship opportunities across any of the major areas of business and hoping that my analytical mindset, global perspective, and strong work ethic can contribute meaningfully to a dynamic team.
