As the team\'s Editorial Associate, I work closely with our Senior Writer and Managing Director of DetroitLions.com to prepare, edit and publish journalistic content to our team website. Utilizing the NFL\'s content management system, Pocket, I prepare all web pages for game coverage, news, feature stories, advance pieces, press releases, etc. throughout the week in addition to reviewing all content for AP Style, fact-checking, stats and preparing photo selections. During preparation, I assist with SEO strategies with title tags, meta tags, links, etc. to generate readership. I am also responsible for all photo galleries such as game day, travel, top photos, community events and more. Furthermore, I byline our weekly opponent roundups, podcast articles & select stories. I also ensure our roster is consistently up to date with players’ headshots, jersey numbers, heights & weights, and handle posting all transactions.
