About Colby Sassano

It is interesting how life always turns out different than you plan. Sports have always been an integral part of my life. My father has been a football coach all my life, and almost everyone in my family has played sports. I always thought I wanted to work in sports. I even moved to Arizona in June of 2018 to work for the Coyotes Hockey Club. Until I met the Reelbros. I saw a group of guys who are attempting to do great things in the commercial & film production industry, and I really wanted to join them, because visual storytelling has always been another passion of mine. Seeing an opportunity for them to grow as a company, I simply wanted to join their crew to help develop new business and be an extra set of hands for them. That has spiraled into me becoming the Assistant Director & Producer with them and assisting in a great deal of the business operations as well as being the glue that keeps everyone together on set. I attended Xavier University in Cincinnati where I graduated Summa Cum Laude and majored in Sports Management with two minors in Communications and Business. I was fortunate enough to be brought on as a student intern for marketing of Xavier Athletics. I played hockey and served as President of the Sports Management Club. I volunteered for the Reds Community Fund, as well as local soup kitchens in Cincinnati.
