ABOUT PUSHPAM KUMAR

Accomplished Senior Army Officer with two decades of distinguished service in the Indian Army, complemented by over four years as the HR Head with India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), a flagship Government of India Public Sector Enterprise renowned as one of Asia\'s most prominent event venues. Currently, I serve as the Head of Bharat Mandapam Convention, recognized as India\'s largest and most esteemed Convention Centre.During my tenure, Bharat Mandapam Convention has attained significant milestones, particularly since its inauguration on July 26, 2023, by the Honorable Prime Minister of India. Under my leadership, we have proudly hosted over 50 mega world-class events, including the prestigious G20 Leadership Summit, B-20 Summit, Miss World pageant, International Solar Alliance conference, Google For India conference, and more than 30 occasions graced by the Honorable Prime Minister of India as the chief guest.My expertise lies in steering multifaceted operations, notably exemplified in the seamless execution of the G20 event at Pragati Maidan. This involved orchestrating intricate tasks such as extensive manpower deployment, overseeing 100+ vendors, and ensuring effective interdepartmental and ministerial coordination. Additionally, I have spearheaded regulatory compliance initiatives, talent development endeavors, operational enhancements, and the formulation and execution of innovative business strategies.One of my significant achievements includes leading the successful overhaul of the Pragati Maidan project, a Rs. 3400 crore redevelopment initiative in New Delhi. This endeavor required meticulous planning, strategic decision-making, and adept management skills to ensure its successful completion and transformation into a state-of-the-art venue.Overall, my career trajectory underscores a proven track record of leadership, strategic vision, and operational excellence across diverse domains, spanning military and corporate landscapes.
