Supervise, mentor, train and evaluate 12-21 student staff consisting of Assistant Residence Hall Directors, Resident Assistants and Peer Academic Assistants. • Facilitate and plan weekly staff meetings, one-on-one meetings, along with department wide student staff meetings for 50 student staff• Management of an area comprised of one residence hall and ranging from 200-300 students with a majority of first-year students.• Oversee the First-Year Residential Experience which includes; but is not limited to; weekly FYRE starters, monthly FYRE side chats, and ensuring our Peer Academic Assistants complete academic plans with each resident and check in multiple time throughout the semester. • Advise the building hall council and support and attend our First-Year Residential Experience Council. • Responsible for all fiscal and budgetary items related to the residence halls and Living Learning Communities in management area• Collaborated with faculty and supervised Honors, Indoor Activities, Outdoor Activities, and Rainbow Residence Living Learning Communities• Crisis management response and supporting medical, safety and security emergencies as well assisting students in personal crisis as needed• Responsible for counseling and adjustment of residential students in first-year experience and upper-class experience residence halls• Assessment practices including (but not limited to) EBI Resident Assessment and Qualtrics Surveys• Planning and Implementing hall closing and opening operations• Administrative responsibilities related to occupancy management, facilities, maintenance and conduct processes• Serve as a conduct officer with the ability to assign educational sanctions, conduct holds, probation, fines and movement of students• Responsible for all hall program implementation that supports diversity, multiculturalism and inclusiveness
