ABOUT KAYLA C.

Great to meet you, my name is Kayla Coffey. I am OU Health\'s Digital Media Strategy Manager with an expertise in creating and optimizing digital front doors for our patients, employees and community. At OU Health, my team and I lead the strategy and management of our digital platforms, including overseeing our social media accounts, digital presence and website. I specialize in streamlining operations, refining user experiences and leveraging data analytics to drive digital content strategies that enhance engagement.My role involves working cross-functionally within the Marketing and Growth department, and closely other OU Health departments from patient experience to talent acquisition. I’ve created and improved standard operating procedures within the digital space resulting in greater efficiency. I also manage multiple vendor and partner relationships supporting our evolving digital infrastructure.Previously, I managed strategic social and digital best practices, governance documents as well as policy creation for social media accounts across OU Health and the University of Oklahoma. My experience extends into organic content creation, paid media strategies, and building unified brand voices across platforms. With a strong foundation in content strategy and digital project management, I’m committed to driving innovation and efficiency in every aspect of digital media.Beyond my professional work, I’m passionate about serving my community. I’ve served on numerous nonprofit boards and committees. I serve as a board member for SocialMedia.org Health. I also expanded my skill set during the four years I spent as a co-creator and producer of a local podcast for my local NPR affiliate and alternative radio station KOSU and The Spy. On evenings and weekends, I can often be found out in the community as a dedicated volunteer for arts organizations like Allied Arts and the Arts Council of Oklahoma City. My community involvement reflects my commitment to fostering strong community and making a positive impact both online and off.
