About Cody Lewis
My path to software development began on a farm in rural Japan. A trip planned for three months and five farms changed after a couple of days on farm one. I realized that farming wasn’t a way of life for me.So I cut short the farming and finished out my trip! I came home with a new cultural experience and perspective on my potential career. I proceeded to immerse myself in programming, learning the fundamentals of the trade.Fast forward to a few months later and the hard work began to pay off. I was in the right place, at the right time, and soon found myself at an internship - the beginning of my career.Over the years, I\'ve leveled up my drive and obsession to improve. Through reading and listening to audiobooks, learning has become a lifestyle. These books include Inclusion on Purpose by Ruchika Tulshyan, The Manager\'s Path by Camille Fournie, and Tidy First? by Kent Beck. I also enjoy fiction and have recently caught up on all of the books within Brandon Sanderson\'s Cosmere universe!If you’ve read this much, let’s chat!
