About Cody Lodi
I am a licensed architect and Design Principal at Weber Thompson with over fifteen years of experience envisioning, managing and delivering high performance projects in the Pacific Northwest. I have work experience on projects ranging from high-end single family residences to large scale multifamily urban developments. My current focus is in the design and delivery of boutique, high performance commercial office buildings, mass timber design and the internal development of emerging design technologies.Regardless of the type or scale of a project, I believe that focusing on the motivations and experiences of the people that interact with form and space and leads to richer, more sustainable and equitable built environment. Good architects are equal parts inventors and storytellers, engineers and poets and I work to equally nurture these complimentary characteristics. In our profession, teamwork and collaboration are paramount to successful architecture and I respect and embrace the many talents of the consultants, clients and coworkers that make up the project teams I interface with. Getting the most out of the diverse perspectives that make up these teams is a key focus of mine and one that continues to challenge and reward me.I am passionate about exploring new and emerging technologies. I believe that VR/AR and AI will fundamentally alter and improve the way architects communicate spatial experience, leading to happier clients and a higher quality built environment. Additionally, I have led the effort to adopt and implement new fabrication tools and cutting-edge technology within Weber Thompson.
