As InnovAge\'s Associate General Counsel, I am responsible for: providing legal guidance and strategic counsel to executive leadership and management of a high-growth, entrepreneurial health care organization; providing transactional support for M&A, entity organization and related corporate matters; managing all staff and functions within the organization\'s provider contracting and credentialing department; negotiating, drafting and maintaining complex contracts with network health care providers, pharmacies, and other third party vendors; providing legal support for the organization\'s real estate portfolio and development ventures; managing outside transactional and litigation counsel; and implementing and overseeing the organization\'s first contract management system. I also serve as the organization\'s Privacy Officer and provide support in other areas of compliance, including Medicare/Medicaid compliance, employee compliance training and policy drafting.
