ABOUT CODY WETMORE

Growing up on his family’s place outside of White Sulphur Springs in Smith River country, Cody was very involved in ranching operations from a young age. When not farming, fencing, or irrigating, Cody was keeping an eye on local wildlife, and fishing on the ranch reservoir or the Smith. He was rowing boats on the Yellowstone before he had a drivers license. But his true passion was hunting, and he was recruited by some of the leading outfitters in Alaska and here in Montana to guide elite hunters seeking record book elk and sheep. After many years of guiding and being a part of Governors Tag hunts, Dall sheep hunts, and elite bow hunters pursuing elk, his resume of success is well known. Recognition of his hunting success has placed him on some of the premium hunting ranches of the west, guiding the most notable of clients. His personal hunting has taken him to British Columbia, New Zealand, the Yukon, and many other states. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys not only big game hunting, but skiing, fishing, and bird hunting across Montana.
