About Cody McLean
I’m the founder of FutureProof, a private equity firm focused on acquiring profitable, overlooked businesses in consumer products, ecommerce, and logistics. Prior to FutureProof, I built and exited multiple companies across logistics, ecommerce, and real estate. This includes scaling a logistics business from 20 to 80 employees and tripling revenue before exiting at 4x its original value, as well as operating and exiting a lifestyle brand and a real estate-backed platform. At FutureProof, we acquire companies generating $2M to $5M in EBITDA and drive value through ecommerce expansion, supply chain improvements, and operational automation. We are currently raising equity alongside senior debt for two acquisitions under contract. Both are cash-flowing, well-run businesses with in-house teams, consistent EBITDA, and scalable infrastructure.
