ABOUT CODY LANDRY

I started my career in 2006 in the transmission and substation construction industry and held multiple positions with Irby Construction Inc, Lower Colorado River Authority, and Southern Maryland Electric Coop, including groundsman, assistant lineman, and construction coordinator. In these roles, I worked on all aspects of Substation and Transmission construction projects. After graduating from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2010, I held multiple engineering roles with Stanley Consultants and Brazos Electric Coop, from Transmission line Engineer to Supervisor of Transmission Engineering, and am a registered professional engineer in Texas and Colorado. In these roles, I was responsible for all technical design aspects of overhead and underground transmission line engineering ranging from 69 kV to 345 kV. In addition to my design experience, I supported the regulatory proceedings of multiple projects. I joined Wind Energy Transmission Texas LLC, in 2019 as a Transmission and Substation Project Manager, where I was responsible for the management of all transmission and substation projects from initial inception through energization, including preliminary engineering, site selection, routing, property acquisition, project bidding/awarding, cost estimating, detailed engineering, material procurement, construction, and testing and commissioning. I was promoted to my current role as Director of Engineering and Construction for Wind Energy Transmission Teas LLC. in 2021. As a Director, I oversee the strategic direction for the Transmission/Substation Engineering and Construction departments to ensure the successful completion of all projects. I’m responsible for the contracting strategy for all engineering, procurement, and construction activities and overall management of projects from initial project inception through energization.
