Starting as a Union Operating Engineer 25 years ago, Cody has worked on countless heavy civil projects throughout his career. Working his way up the ranks at various construction companies around the bay area, he garnered invaluable knowledge and experience in underground, concrete, water and pipeline projects. In 2022, he co-founded GSW Construction, a heavy civil construction company serving the San Francisco bay area. In his current role as Vice President, Cody oversees the day-to-day operations in the field. Using a hands-on leadership approach, he is focused on building a rock solid field staff capable of executing a wide range of projects smoothly and efficiently. He brings established relationships with various project teams, unions, field employees, project owners and vendors.
