WORK HISTORY
Project Manager @Benchmark Construction Company
Brownstown, PA, US
My responsibilities are wide-ranging and include: pre-construction and estimating, supporting design efforts, and managing project schedules, contracts, and costs. I am assigned to an array of projects in hospital and ambulatory healthcare environments; and these projects are broadly varied in scope, complexity, and cost. Many of my projects are infrastructure intensive, which is well supported by my background. The familiarity that I developed working within the healthcare environment at the field-level allows for a unique understanding of building systems. Collaboration with a variety of resources and stakeholders is essential in these types of projects. I operate with a client-centric focus and strive to build strong relationships with not only project team members, but with every person whom I interact in the execution of projects. My familiarity of systems, regulations, and codes allows me to be a resource for our team and I enjoy the opportunity to support anyone with questions or challenges.

ABOUT CODY BOST
I entered the construction industry on a whim and spent more than ten years working in electrical construction - working my way from Apprentice to Superintendent. My passion for continuous improvement and growth led me to join the project management team at Benchmark Construction, starting there as a Facilities/MEP Coordinator and quickly moving into my current Project Manager role.I spend the majority of my time working in the healthcare setting and I have developed a passion for that environment. I enjoy the challenges and the collaboration that is necessary to successfully execute a project in healthcare. Many of my projects are focused on infrastructure improvements and MEP/FP because of my familiarity with those systems and my background. I am also often engaged to consult upon life safety conditions given my familiarity with NFPA codes and healthcare regulatory requirements.I have earned the American Hospital Association\'s Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) and Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) credentials. I also hold the National Fire Protection Association\'s Certified Life Safety Specialist – Healthcare (CLSS-HC) credential. I am licensed as a Master Electrician by the City of Harrisburg and City of Reading. I enjoy connecting with people with whom I have worked and those that share similar interests, skills, and motivations in the environments and expertise with which I am associated.
