Currently working in operations at United Parcel Service training, managing, and equipping drivers to work safely and efficiently in everything they do. Through focusing on equity, team work, and meeting business needs there is great depth and validation that comes from working with a diverse goal oriented company and work group. My 10+ years in operations, bachelors degree in psychology, and Eagle Scout background have given me the experience to manage and train people to not only be safe and efficient but also have the skills to sustain a healthy mental state. My desire is to continually make sure people are treated with respect, that they have the tools to do their jobs well, and that work is accomplished safely and efficiently.    Oct 2020 — Present

   Monitor the performance of package car drivers using efficiency metrics and service feedback; adjust routes and package load when individuals do not meet those metrics. Lead daily safety meetings with 30–70 drivers to discuss safety concerns, road conditions, and daily objectives. Troubleshoot issues related to collisions, DOT driver restrictions, and packages unaccounted for. Train drivers on car out on route for annual certifications, accident and injury follow up, and to ensure they are following both safe and efficient methods. Ensure drivers are paid correctly making any needed changes, working through seniority order to let drivers bid routes, schedule vacations, and tackle package needs that come up. The overall goal of an on-road supervisor is to establish an environment that makes all working individuals work safe and meet the business needs of the company.
