After a rewarding 23-year career as a Navy Submariner, I am excited to transition into project management, bringing my extensive leadership and operational experience to a new field.As the Director of Operations at the Information Warfare Training Group (IW Training Group), I managed and led cyber and electronic warfare training for naval forces. Overseeing a diverse team of 144 personnel across multiple departments and locations, I ensured that naval personnel were equipped with the latest skills to counter emerging cyber and electronic threats.In my role, I was responsible for coordinating with external organizations, reviewing and updating training policies, and guiding mission execution. I developed and implemented comprehensive training programs, identified and addressed process improvement opportunities, and collaborated effectively with internal and external stakeholders.I hold a Master of Science in IT Management with a concentration in Information Security and Digital Forensics, along with certifications in Security+, ITIL, and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. My goal is to leverage this expertise in my transition to project management, where I am committed to driving strategic growth and positive change in any organization I serve.
