ABOUT COCO STACHNIK
Hello! My name is Caroline Stachnik, but I go by Coco. I am a senior at Purdue University, majoring in Strategic (PR) & Business Communication, Law & Society, and minoring in Management. However, when I first started college, I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to major in. I just knew I liked storytelling and communication. Then, I took my first Public Relations class where I was drawn to the idea of creating socially impactful campaigns and making meaningful connections through communication. That passion led me to join two student organizations at Purdue: Boiler Communication, a student-run PR agency and Purdue PRSSA, a pre-professional student organization to connect students with industry professionals. As President of Operations for Boiler Communication, I lead the class in operational management by overseeing project workflows, supporting team development, and handling any crises that might arise. In addition, the leadership team treats Boiler Communication as a client by generating and implementing ideas for the agency. Then, as Treasurer of Purdue PRSSA, I manage all financials, keep accurate records and plan all fundraising initiatives like Saxby’s x PRSSA Dirty Soda and Coffee Bar fundraiser. Both roles have deepened my love for collaboration, creativity, and bringing ideas to life. Ultimately, I am excited to continue to make meaningful connections through communication while making a lasting impact on the community. or whichever community I am a part of.
