ABOUT COCO W. BANKS

As a Blended Learning Instructor at Florida Virtual School, I deliver engaging French language instruction to students across Miami-Dade Public Schools. I integrate digital tools and platforms like Zoom and Genially to enhance student engagement and streamline virtual learning. I also adapt lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs, ensuring all students can access the curriculum effectively. I am passionate about creating a multicultural curriculum that celebrates diversity and promotes inclusivity in my classroom. I participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language instruction and educational technology. I co-lead a group of blended learning instructors and collaborate extensively with colleagues within my World Languages schoolhouse. I have a Master of Education in Literacy from American College of Education and am a Dyslexia Specialist Candidate at the Neuhaus Education Center.
