ABOUT TERRY RUSSELL
I am an educator, athletic leader, and player development coach with over a decade of experience helping student-athletes grow physically, mentally, and personally both on and off the court.Currently, I serve as a Middle School Physical Education Teacher and Athletic Director, where I teach the importance of physical activity, health, nutrition, and teamwork while designing engaging, movement-based learning experiences. I also support school leadership through committees, athletic programming, and the coordination of competitive sports events.In parallel, I’ve spent 9+ years as a Trainer and Player Development Coach, providing strength and conditioning, basketball skill development, film analysis, and mentorship for youth and competitive athletes. My coaching approach emphasizes fundamentals, discipline, accountability, and confidence helping athletes understand their strengths, improve weaknesses, and perform with purpose.I am passionate about developing the whole athlete not just performance, but mindset, work ethic, and integrity.
