About Geoff Pritchard
Working at startups is difficult. There is a lot of natural uncertainty which can be hard to process. Yet, it\'s where I love to work. It\'s where I can make the biggest contributions and collaborate with bright, ambitious people. I\'m thankful that my varied, professional roles have given me a great perspective on being a startup employee. The experiences have taught me how to \"do the work\", even during constantly changing and challenging times. I\'ve learned this during several iterations at small and medium-sized software-as-a-service companies. My journey has included the chance to contribute as- a Vertical User Specialist on a scheduling platform built for solopreneurs. I led product-focused research on features related to income and expense reporting- a Technical Product Specialist at a medical imaging company with contracts at major U.S. medical centers- a Senior Customer Success Manager at a medical scheduling company that continued to expand, even through the pandemic. I managed customer accounts of 10k to 100k and partnered on projects that were worth millions in ARR- a lead Customer Success Manager at an office scheduling and employee engagement company that helped promote a safe return-to-office. Outside of my professional work, I\'m a father of three kids. I am constantly wondering about the next step in their education journey and figuring out ways to promote their personal curiosity. I\'m open to help any company with big ambitions but would love to join an education startup helping K12 students.

Teaching Fellow - Explore Engineering Innovation
Johns Hopkins Whiting School Of Engineering
Jul 2024 — Present · Baltimore, MD, US
The Explore Engineering Innovation program gives high school students the opportunity to learn about the fields of engineering that will help them decide on college majors. The month-long program is an intensive in engineering concepts and has bright students from Baltimore and around the world (current roster has China, Thailand, and United Arab Emirates represented). My role is to assist the lead instructor with student assignments, grading, and teaching electronics (physical computing). Hopkins has hosted the program for the past 20 years and it was an honor to assist these talented students with their courswork (concluding in a spaghetti bridge project learned from Mechanical Engineering concepts of tension, bending and buckling).
