As Strada\'s inaugural chief, diversity, equity, and inclusion officer, my role is designed to lead network-wide DEI strategies and approaches to advance our mission, operations, and culture. In this capacity, the CDEIO is responsible for partnering with key stakeholders contributing to the strategic plan, establishing annual DEI goals, promoting and measuring inclusive excellence, and embedding best practices leading to a sense of belonging. In addition to overseeing the DEI portfolio, my team is responsible for partnering with senior leaders to create meaningful internal and external events, work with key organizations on sponsored partnerships, and leverage the strategies mentioned earlier to improve individuals\' economic mobility through purposeful connections between postsecondary education and work.
