WORK HISTORY
Vice President, Defense Senior Leader Development Program (Dsldp) Cohort 2025 @United States Department Of War
Washington, DC, US
2025 is shaping up to be a formative year for me. I’m very pleased to announce that I have been formally selected for the 2025 cohort of the DoD’s prestigious Defense Senior Leader Development Program (DSLDP)! I was incredibly fortunate enough to be selected as one of the Top 30 from over DoD Civilians at the GS-14/15-level. My orientation starts today and I’m super excited to commence this multi-year developmental journey! So, what is DSLDP? It is a unique leadership program that develops senior civilian leaders with the potential and aspiration to serve as senior executives. It provides structured learning opportunities to enable civilian leaders with enterprise-wide perspectives and competencies to lead people, programs, and organizations in the joint, interagency, and multinational environment.Over the next 27 months, I’ll attend five leadership seminars, the Defense Strategy Foundation Course, Joint PME at a sister-service War College, a ~6-month experiential assignment, structured SES/ECQ interview sessions, all culminating in a formal graduation scheduled for April 2027 and followed by outplacement to a new DoD assignment here in the National Capital Region. All of these certainly mark significant milestones in my career. With that said, I will be departing the Space Staff at the Pentagon this coming Summer (after 5+ years!) to attend The Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy as a member of the Class of 2026. I’ll be a full-time graduate student for 10+ months and will (hopefully!) complete my second Masters Degree (Master of Science in National Resource Studies).
