I joined CollabNet, Inc. as a Software Engineer in January 2001, but have arrived at this position through a few title promotions and company mergers.]To the open-source world, I am one of the leading designers and developers of Apache Subversion (http://subversion.apache.org/), one of world\'s most popular version control systems. I am also the primary maintainer of ViewVC (http://viewvc.org/), a web-based repository viewer for CVS and Subversion version control repositories.Within CollabNet/CollabNet VersionOne/Digital.ai, I have served many roles over the years and contributed to many product lines. I\'ve developed, improved, or otherwise maintained integrations between Subversion and various CollabNet flagship offerings: CollabNet Enterprise Edition, CollabNet TeamForge, CollabNet Subversion Edge, CloudForge, and of the experimental Ossum project. More recently, my attention has turned away from version control specifically and toward the wider value stream management discipline, working first on Continuum but now on the Digital.ai platform offering.In addition to engineering activities, I have been known to assist our Sales, Support, and Services folks with customer engagements, and support our Marketing department in providing blog content and participating in live speaking engagements (both in-person and in virtual venues).
