CES is a statewide organization responsible for engineering, design, estimating and coordination of governmental work (e.g. GDOT road relocations and city/ county road projects).Responsibilities include design, estimating, and coordinating construction for multiple overhead and underground construction projects. Providing superior customer service and Project Management skills to prepare and schedule construction of jobs to meet committed service dates. Write and execute switching orders to effectively maintain, operate, and assist in the distribution planning of the system for reliability. In addition, is responsible for processing all documentation in accordance with Compliance requirements. Participates in the on-call trouble supervision rotation and must be available after business hours for local, out-of-town, and out-of-state trouble and storm restorationAptitudes:• Strong Technical Engineering Skills and understanding of Power • Knowledgeable of general engineering and construction principles• Knowledgeable of electrical system operations, distribution systems, underground and overhead construction practices• Experienced in writing and executing switching orders• Knowledgeable of the Distribution Bulletins, Engineering Handbook/Specifications, Distribution Operating Procedures, ARC Flash Requirements, Metering Blue Book, Consistency Manual and the Financial and Business goals • Prioritizes and organizes work to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.• Excellent project management skills leading to desired results.• Effectively communicates and builds positive relationships with customers (governing authority representatives), engineers, corporate partners and line crew personnel. • Good Attitude and Ability to provide excellent customer service both internally and externally• Working knowledge of NESC.
