Nominated for Regional Heartland Emmy®in 2024. Won Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for Excellence in Writing in 2021. Currently I am a morning Reporter/MMJ at KDVR/KWGN in Denver. My experience doesn’t stop at the four corners of the state, my career has also taken me to Canton, Ohio during NFL Hall of Fame week, the National Training Center for the U.S. Army to cover in-depth operations, and during college, I did an extended studies program on the U.S./Mexico Border. My strength in storytelling comes with a drive for accuracy and a level-headed attitude. I’m an enthusiastic go-getter and thrive in a breaking news environment. As a Colorado native, I have established strong community relationships with trusted sources. As a journalist, I have been both the recipient and creator of public messaging. I have experience developing high-impact stories under pressure and leading live crisis coverage with clarity and sensitivity. I know firsthand the importance of transparent and timely communication, especially when the stakes are high and emotions run deep.
