Provide strategic leadership and clinical oversight for the nation’s only residential behavioral health program dedicated to the treatment of serious mental illness within a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) secure healthcare setting. I am an Active Duty Behavioral Health Officer with the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) and a Board Certified Diplomate (BCD) in Clinical Social Work. I currently serve as the Program Manager for the nation’s only residential inpatient behavioral health unit in a secured healthcare setting, specializing in serious mental illness, where I lead a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care and advancing behavioral health program standards.Previously, I served as an Active Duty Medical Officer in the U.S. Air Force, overseeing multiple behavioral health and prevention programs, supervising diverse clinical teams, and driving system-wide improvements in access to care and clinical outcomes.I am trained in EMDR, CPT, and PE therapies, and am a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Practitioner (CCBT). I am currently in the process of completing my Field Instructor / Practicum Instructor Training (CSWE-aligned) certification through the University of Southern California. My experience spans military, veteran, and family social work; trauma-informed care; crisis intervention; substance use treatment; and correctional mental health.Driven by service, integrity, and innovation, I am passionate about strengthening behavioral health systems, developing future clinicians, and advancing mission-ready care through compassionate leadership.
