I am the country lead for cyber and information security matters across EY UK & Ireland. I build and foster relationships with business stakeholders, technologists, data owners and the end-user community, providing assurance for business enablement projects and client service engagements through a framework of policies. I manage cyber and information security governance, which delivers compliance of internal and client solutions, enduring data privacy and data risk mitigation and alignment with market and regulatory expectations.\\\\nI manage multiple responsibilities and hold senior positions on various internal and external bodies:\\\\nFounder and permanent member of the EY UK LLP Board’s Information and Cyber Security Sub-Committee\\\\nEY UK’s principal regulatory liaison for cyber security, supporting the Financial Reporting Council on legislative and statutory matters\\\\nFounding member of the ICAEW’s round table of UK audit and professional services cyber security leaders\\\\nUK representative on EY Global CISO’s extended leadership team and Security Awareness Ambassador for UK & Ireland\\\\nEY UK’s representative on National Cyber Security Centre’s Managed Service Provider Information Exchange\\\\n\\\\nI provide due diligence and management of sourcing and development projects involving new vendors and internal technology. I manage data loss investigations, supporting stakeholders around security controls, root cause analysis, issue remediation and management of residual risks. I have managed the assurance and delivery of many business-enabling solutions, including cloud-based content management and collaboration, protective monitoring, file access governance, user behaviour analytics, secure web gateways, data loss prevention, mobile threat defence, proxy filter monitoring and alerting.\\\\nAlongside my core role, I am Information Security Assurance Lead for a managed services learning framework with HMG Civil Service and many other public-sector and CNI engagements, valued at over £250m.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
