Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to products, processes, and quality systems- Verify the implementation of solutions and/or corrective actions- Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System, IATF 16949, and any applicable Customer Specific Requirements (CSR’s)- Manage all aspects of plant Quality personnel, including assessment of current capabilities and ongoing development- Manage the receiving inspection, final audit, test lab, internal audit program, gage and calibration process, and material tractability activities to assure the effectiveness of the Quality System- Define Plant Quality objectives and monitor progress- Report Quality results to all relevant parties during daily meetings and Management Reviews- Provide training when necessary to update employee knowledge- Comply with the Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Policies- Support APQP activities for new product launches, and ensure timely completion of PPAPs, dimensional analysis, and capability studies.
