The College and Career Readiness Program Manager is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and oversight of LCC’s high school to career programming. This currently includes our GenOne Program, Avanzando Through College, and Nuestro Futuro. The CCR Program Manager is both responsible for the implementation of these programs and for being an active participant in working closely with individual students and families to help them navigate the educational system, set goals for the future, and develop plans to accomplish those goals and provide needed tools and resources to carry out their plans. The CCR Program Manager is expected to advocate with Latino youth and their parents to break down barriers to educational progress and success in higher education. The Manager will be responsible for implementing the Avanzando Through College program, managing and supervising the ALAS Pittsburgh Specialist in facilitating the GenOne program, and managing and supervising the Nuestro Futuro Coordinator in facilitating the Internship program.
