Analyze actual manufacturing cost and preparing periodic reports comparing standard cost to actual production cost.Perform monthly evaluation of over/under applied and unusual items in the month including analysis of plant actual cost compared to both budget and forecasted results with details explanation.Proactively analyze variances and communicate issues and opportunities to Manufacturing and Operations Management.Cost accounting activities include material usage analysis, maintaining standard costing system/processWork with manufacturing leaders to develop and maintain reportingPerform detailed material cost analysis comparing with previous month cost and BOM & Recipe.Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability.Preparing periodical MIS reports and replying to ad hoc queries from stake holders like auditors and finance controllers. Maintain / set up annual standard costing systems for plant locations.Support quarterly reviews and annual audits performed by external auditorsPrepares and reports analysis on operational performance and budget variances to strengthen cost controls, reduce costs, and increase efficienciesOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual SAP closing to ensure closing happens accurately and in a timely mannerPrepare the annual establishment of standard activity rates and the periodic review of the rates if volumes/ fixed costs vary materially from plan.Preparing production volume reports and analysis and execution of plant distribution and assessment cycles.Working with Business Unit heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts, consolidating them into one overall budget. Prepare the annual plant budgets for spend under the direction of the plant accounting leader in the GCC. Perform certain General Ledger Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Cost Controlling activities.
