About Clynn Wilker
Vice President with demonstrated success working in the pharmaceutical industry. Skilled in Toxicology, Pharmaceutics, Biomarkers, Good Laboratory Practice (GLP). Bachelor of Science (BS) Animal Sciences, DVM from Washington State University and PhD Toxicology from Texas A and M University. Diplomat American College of Theriogenology. Consistent record of guiding non-clinical development groups while actively collaborating on cross-functional internal and external teams (including global regulatory interactions) in the timely progression of several drug candidates from IND to NDA approval. Skilled at identifying issues and solving problems using open and transparent communication leading to successfully navigating desirable outcomes. Proven leader and solution finder. It has been my privilege to work at companies that have developed several drugs that are FDA approved. I led the non-clinical safety assessment team from IND to FDA approval on five drugs currently on the market. It has been rewarding to see how my work on Celebrex helped my father with the pain of arthritis in his hands from years of carrying heavy hay bales and working with the horse teams that he drove cutter racing. I’ve also helped bring to market a drug for the treatment of gout. Another drug I’ve worked on from pre-clinical development all the way to FDA approval helps infants born requiring bowel resection absorb the nutrients they need for growth. Most recently I was part of the teams that brought ZENRELEF to market. This drug reduces the need for opiates post surgically therefore reducing the possibility of opiate addiction. My success in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry has me excited to discover and develop the next generations of therapeutics for human health.
