About Clyde Gakwaya

Gaming was something I’ve always love and been passionate about. On October 23rd, 2023, I decided to pursue my journey and chase my dream. I created an Esports organization called Legacy Gaming. This is where my love for Esports grew. I created teams and bonded with individuals who loved what I loved. In May 2025 I created a LinkedIN account and wanted to learn from people in the industry. Fast forward to December of 2025 I landed an internship at Respawn Youth, an Esports education company. I joined the scholastic Esports space because I know what it\'s like to know your dream but not have the support needed. I wanted to inspire and empower, the next generation of Esports. The next generation who will be leading the industry isn\'t the top CEO\'s or business leaders of this age, it starts with the youth. In December, I got offered a position as Community Manager for gamerie.gg, an Esports social networking platform. In January 2026 I graduated High School as an early grad, and I now pursue my career full time straight out of high school.\"There\'s no such things as failure, only delayed success. In this internship, I do the following, Observing internal meetings and taking guided notes Practicing outreach drafts and communication scripts with feedback Assisting with supervised research tasks (e.g, summarizing organizations or contacts) Participating in skill-building exercises related to professionalism and communication
