About Claire Rogers
Engineer and sales professional with experience spanning R&D, manufacturing, project management, and customer-facing roles in healthcare technology and medical devices. Skilled at bridging technical and business teams by translating complex requirements into practical solutions and ensuring cross-functional alignment across engineering, sales, regulatory, quality, and marketing. Offers a unique perspective from working on both the engineering and commercial sides—individually and in blended roles—and seeks to continue leveraging this balance to drive collaboration, innovation, and creative problem solving.I’m a biomedical engineer by degree who loves being where technical work meets human connection (which, as we know, is not all that common in engineering professions alone!). My background spans R&D, manufacturing, and managing customer projects for customized/tailored medical devices. I really enjoy translating complex technical details into simple, actionable value and seeing my own and my team\'s ongoing progress — whether helping a team solve a production challenge or guiding a customer to the solution that fits their needs. The more I’ve worked across engineering and sales teams, the more I’ve seen how developing medical devices mirrors how software and other products are built, too, in that it requires collecting requirements, iterating through testing, validating results, and constantly improving the final product. These parallels are what pushed me to start teaching myself the basics of the technical side of software through courses in SDLCs, SQL, Ruby, GitHub, and eventually more.I’m now looking for my next opportunity and hoping that it will allow me to blend my current and future technical acumen, communication, and creative problem-solving. Ideally, I see myself in roles or industries that also let me bring in my personal passions. I’m motivated by projects that touch women’s health, outdoor sports and fitness, neurological health, biomechanics, wellness, design, or consumer branding, and that allow me to contribute meaningfully while continuing to learn and grow in the process.
